Rather than choose an orthodontic treatment option that involves metal brackets and wiring, many of our patients benefit from Invisalign. Invisalign is a system of clear aligners that will work to straighten your teeth and perfect your smile. These aligners are virtually invisible to the naked eye, but they’re just as effective as traditional braces. Invisalign is ideal for patients of all ages, including teenagers and adults.
The Invisalign treatment process begins with a consultation, exam, impressions and x-rays. We customize the treatment plan for you and use your impressions to make your first set of clear aligners. You’ll wear these aligners for no less than about 22 hours each day. The Invisalign trays need to be removed when eating, flossing and brushing. You will then come in at regular intervals every few weeks so that we can make new Invisalign trays for you to wear.
